  • Avoid exploitation or shock content. Uphold the dignity of animals by avoiding trauma-centered posts.
  • Share transparent updates, including both progress and setbacks.
  • All posts must have a disclaimer of being a licensed certified wildlife rehabilitator and mention all permits (rabies vector, non-releasable, etc).

Example: "Images should be well-lit, calm, and focused on the animal's personality, comfort, and progress. Avoid harsh filters or overly edited content that distorts reality."

Use of Captions with Educational or Emotional Insight

Captions are powerful! Recommend pairing every photo or video with meaningful text.

Example: Tell the animal's story, explain their journey, or share a small educational insight—this turns a cute post into a connection point."

Live Streaming

  • Limit live streams to a maximum of 40 minutes per session.
  • Stream only when it serves a meaningful purpose (e.g., education, enrichment activities, rehabilitation milestones).

Content Style & Ethics

  • Use calm, well-lit photography and video to showcase animals respectfully.
  • Avoid overediting or filters that distort animal appearances.
  • Add captions with emotional or educational insight (e.g., the animal's background, recovery story, or behavioral fact).

Accessibility

  • Include subtitles on videos and alt text on images when possible.
  • Use inclusive language and visual design to make content accessible to all audiences.
